Yamato is an ANBu member. He has the genes of the first hokage inside of him. His first codename was Tenzo and sometimes kakashi calls him that but he begs him to call him his new codename Yamato.

Background[]
After birth Orochimaru took him and was one of sixty children who were Orochimaru's test subjects.The first hokage's genes were inplanted in him.Before Orochimaru finished his experments he had to flee the Leaf Village. He thought all his test subjects had died, but Yamato was the only one who survied.
Apperance[]
Yamato has brown hair and black eyes. When he first appeared he was in the basic ANBU uniform. He had a sword straped to his back and he wore a cat mask. He also had the ANBU tattoo on his shoulder. When he joined Team Kakashi he had on a flak jacket. The only diffenrence in the flak jacket was that it didn't have the Uzushiogakure crest on the shoulders. He wears a face protecter similar to the one the Second Hokage wears.
Abilitys[]
Yamato is able to use the First's wood kekkei genkei. He combines water in his left hand and earth in his right. Thus leading to the ability to make wood. Wood release makes a good defense and a good attack.
Yamato is able to supress the tailed beast because of the First Hokage's DNA. He also says that the First Hokage was able to supress the tailed beasted faster.
Personality[]
Yamato has the personality of any other ANBU Black Ops member. He is careful,catious, and prepared. He is calm in difficult sitiations. He is a diffenrent kind of teacher than Kakashi. He uses this sorta mean stare, Naruto is terrified by it. He says it feels like Yamato is controlling him with fear.
